Lovely to come across this photo from last month’s cèilidh for Tagsa Uibhist clients. It is great getting the young people from Sgoil Lionacleit involved in these events and even better for them to witness first hand the benefits and impact of music therapy and community music learning.
Getting to run events such as this reminds me every single day why I love this community and what I do so much. Photo credits: Maureen du Preez #Uist #cèilidhs #musictherapy #communitymusic I’ve been busy this morning recording footage for some new material I’ve written. The council’s Multimedia Unit asked me to write a selection of Gaelic songs for children to learn and this morning I’ve been recording some video footage to go along with it. It’s been lots of fun writing these songs and I hope to share them on here at some point soon.
#GaelicSongs #CNES #UibhistaDeas I am so excited to announce that I will be performing LIVE at An Lanntair, Stornoway on Wednesday 20th of April at 8pm! So delighted to be sharing some Gaelic songs and tunes with a live audience for the first time in what feels like forever. If you’d like to book tickets, please follow the link below:
