MÒRAN TAING I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to last night’s gig in An Lanntair. It was a surreal, emotional and amazing experience to be back performing to a live audience. My thanks goes to those at An Lanntair for this great opportunity (a special mention to Calum Fraser) and to Anna-Wendy and Simon from BA Applied Music UHI for their continued support and encouragement. A very special thanks to fellow musicians, Allan Henderson and Emilia Marienfeld who I was absolutely delighted to be sharing the stage with last night. last night’s gig would not have been possible without them! I decided to dedicate my performance last night to Michey’s Dad, Calum Beag MacRury who sadly passed away last month. Performing my last song of the night in his memory was a truly overwhelming and powerful feeling and experience that I cannot put into words. He is so missed by us… Mòran taing dhuibh uile a-rithist.
